Almost getting started

I'm sitting crossed legged in the middle of a pile of papers- really, they're spread out all around like a starburst. Some have called this the adoption journey, I think it should be titled the adoption pile. Because that's what we'll have at the end. Today, the pile of file folders, forms, and copies is only half as long as my forearm. But I expect it to grow- soon!

We discovered an agency that works in Ghana and we're thrilled- nervous, the kind of nervous that comes with a stomach ache, but also thrilled. The agency, in Washington state, is called Adoption Advocates International.
All together, we have several sets of paperwork sent in, others in process, and we're wondering if Kinko's has a frequent flyer program. We've also experienced fingerprinting. Guess we have a record now!

About the name- another generation- is what we're after here; who knows, the Kenshol's in three generations may be Ghanaian- Mexican-Asian-American!
On y va, here we go!
